Getting to Playlist:
Simply click the Album art in the now playing screen, (Portrait only, a bug fix will be out shortly to fix this in landscape view)

Tweet #nowplaying:
when in now playing screen press menu, then click more, and click Tweet #Nowplaying. this will take you into ‘twitter for android’ if it is installed.  with the message already filled in, with song name and artist. (universal twitter support will be added soon)

The 1.7.5 update is a New Version based on the froyo Music App Source code. i have fixed all of the bugs present in pervious versions, and added a couple of features.

Small Bug Fix Release for Version 1.7.5.2 to fix the disappearing widgets Bug.

THIS UPDATE IS FROYO ONLY, There will be an eclair versions asap.

New Stuff (since 1.6):

New Options in menu:
Haptic Feedback for Gestures (Vibrate when a gesture is recognised)
Invert Next and Previous Gestures (I.E. Left for next and Right for Previous)

also New 4×3 Widget, (similar to the 4×4 but smaller)
i have also tried to simplify the the Gestures so now hopefully this should work better,
for instance you can now use > or < to play/pause.

This works fine on any éclair ROM, it should also function an any donut ROM that has the backported Eclair Stuff.

On froyo?
this version isnt officaily but it works on froyo with a couple of small issues, first off you will want to delete MusicGoogle.apk and MusicGoogle.odex. also please dont navigate to the playlist screen, as it was cause a load of Force Closes

What do you need to know?
There is a couple of new things option in the settings menu: enable full screen mode in  the now playing screen, enable gestures, gesture descriptions and diagrams, credits and about.

To get to the current play list click on the the album artwork.

I’ve been getting this request for quite a while, and decided to finally get off my lazy ass and do it. Basically, Spare Parts can now read the list of colours . The update.zip that you download and flash replaces SpareParts.apk, framework.jar, framework-res.apk, android.policy.jar and services.jar.

Note: This has been tested on CM5.0.7.1 for N1, and should work on CM5.0.7/CM5.0.8-test1 for D/S.

How to Use?
0. NANDROID BACKUP FIRST ^^
1. Flash the update.zip via recovery
2. Download the sample XML
3. Read the instructions (comments in the XML)
4. Edit the XML as you like, simply replace the colours with your choice. See http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/index.php/User:Wysie for what each change will affect.
5. Place the XML (do NOT rename it) on the sdcard, go to Spare Parts, and select the “Import colors from XML” option.
6. Reboot the phone

Exporting to XML
1. Go into Spare Parts, edit the colours as you like
2. Once it is to your liking, export the XML by going to Spare Parts, and select “Export colors to XML”.
3. Copy the XML from the sdcard to wherever you want, for distribution or whatever.

So What?
For themers, whether you’re using MetaMorph or the update.zip method, you can now simply create an additional XML file, and tell the user to import it using spare parts for the colours, instead of making the user go through the trouble of setting each colour manually .

What’s Next?
- Learn about intents, so other apps (eg. MetaMorph), can call SpareParts to apply the colour changes
- Apply/read from the XML on phone boot-up

This should work fine on any Eclair rom, and any Donut rom with Eclire bits. It does work Partially on Froyo however it doesn’t replace the stock Music app, and you will get a Forceclose if you go to the the Play lists tab.
